Trying to pick the female brain

What is it with you women. You have a good thing and a good man that treats you good, and you lose it???? I don't get it.Me and my gf of 3 years have been off and on and she just recently started seeing some skinny white basketball player who thinks he's black, has tints and rims on a toyota camry and swears it's a lexus. She tells me "it's not like i love him or really like him that much" but for some reason she wants to be with him. He is around while I'm not but shcool is almost over, and things will probably change.The problem that we have is that I am so devoted, so loving and very very protective and caring of her. I would do anything for her at anytime and I guess that might push her away. So now she is with this guy and I really don't think it will last...but what should I do? I mean how do I act. I told her good luck and I'm happy for her but what should I do.I could start hooking up with her best friend who wants me?I just want to somehow get through to her that I am not her puppet and maybe relight the spark. I don't know where I really went wrong.
