I am gettin my wife on a NYC stack, and was wondering if the yohimbe would increase her sex drive. I had thought I had read that somewhere.
Sorry this is kind of a dumb question, but with me on test and her on zoloft, we are not seeing eye to eye in the sex department lately.
I have read that as well - but when I took NYC I didn't notice anything. Although I didn't take it for very long. But that damn Zoloft will kill a woman's sex drive - that's one of the main reasons I ended up going off it. Good luck to you!
yeah I want the doc to switch her to wellbutrin soon, and she said that a switch is possible. It is just that she is a new doctor for my wife and she wants to get to know her for a while before she messes with her meds.
That stuff is no joke. Having sex with a woman on zoloft sure does make a man feel inadequate.
Well I hope that she can get switched soon. My poor husband went through the Zoloft no sex spell, then I got pregnant and that wasn't exactly the most sexual time of my life and then I nursed my baby for a year - and that was even worse than being pregnant. So now finally, after basically 3 years of a horrible sex life - we finally have a great one. Just letting you know that there is hope!

Another SSRI your wife may want to ask about is Lexapro. It requires a lot smaller of a dose and a whole lot less risk of sides. There are a lot of good threads on it in the O/T forum. Just do a search.

gosh im so glad to hear about everyones zoloft problems with sex drives...my gf was on it and she felt like sex was a chore bc of the zoloft and i was on test and so my sex drive was wanting at least once a day and she was thinking more like once or 2 a week max....it sucked...and it did make me feel inadeqate for some time till after we broke up, i figured it out and declared the zoloft the problem...i knew it was hampering her sex drive, but i figured since in the beg we were having great sex that it would continue...but after the initial excitement wore off, the sex drive went down for her i guess.....i think it was the beg of the end for our relationship.... zoloft
Yohimbine does NOT affect woman's sex drive� I just finished a cycle with yohimbine HCL and didn't notice any difference.
